Established on 1st July 2022, Raising Hope Centre is a non-profit organization registered in Kenya under the Ministry of Gender and Social Services. We are based in Kitengela, Nairobi, with a focus on refugees and vulnerable individuals.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for refugees and the urban poor by offering education, psychosocial support, and livelihood skills. We envision a sustainable future for all families and individuals.
Training refugees and youth in tailoring, hairdressing, computer skills, and entrepreneurship.
Providing school fees, scholastic materials, and English language classes to ease communication in host communities.
Projects like poultry farming and salon services to empower families financially.
Counseling and community dialogue meetings.
Distribution of food and essential supplies.
